I think they are the original plugs installed when it was new (11 years and 167,000km ago). They seem to have held up well.

Yes... and the new plugs I installed were similar/the same NGK Iridium plugs.
Definitely want to install long-life plugs in the Fit because to get to them, you have to remove the battery and the intake... so it takes 3x as long compared to past cars I’ve owned.
The new plugs and the valve adjustment seemed to help the power a little. Engine still ticks when the VTEC kicks in due to that iffy right lifter on cylinder #2.
I’m not sure how much of the minor power improvement is due to the new plugs vs the valve adjustment (I had to adjust ALL the valves... exhaust side was too tight, intake side too loose)

I’m following what
the maintenance minder in my Fit is telling me to do. And based on the operating data it recorded, it was telling me it was time to change the plugs... as well as adjust the valves, change the air intake filter (which I already did a month or two ago), change my oil (also did last weekend) and rotate my tires (didn’t bother... getting new tires soon).

eeeek! I didn’ t know it was that difficult in the Fit!
The I4's are usually very easy since they’re usually right on top of the
engine!

I wouldn’t say it’s overly difficult... just time consuming. Here is the engine bay with everything assembled:
Here is the engine bay with the intake removed and valve cover off:
See the 4 silver things toward the back between the back set of (exhaust) valve
lifters? Those are the holes that lead to the spark plugs
Removing the valve cover isn’t necessary for getting to the plugs. But you do have to remove the battery and a good part of the intake as pictured.
Once those items are out of the way, the plugs are easy to get to. This isn’t like getting to the back plugs on a 1990s/early 2000s F-Body.
Also, keep in mind that this is something that only needs to be done every ~160,000km or so... meaning, if the car lasts, I’ll have to do this again in 7-8 years from now.
I’ll probably never need to do it again as rust is likely to kill my car before this service will need to be repeated.
